I've been unofficially accepted to WSU study abroad theatre program...
...for the month of June I will be in Moscow, Russia, studying at the Moscow Art Theatre School...
...I am soo excited for this... they normally don't accept freshman...
...I am so going to get my ass kicked and I will love every second of it...
...it is going to be amazing, a once in a lifetime opportunity...
...when JT told me I was "un"officially in, my heart literally skipped a beat...

I've realized that I don't really have a whole lot of stability around me. And the one thing that really is, will be gone in the next year or so.
huh.
Don't get me wrong, its not like I'm complaining. I don't mean to in the least bit. I've chosen this, and I'm enjoying it.

So in less than a year's time, I'll be gone from LO...probably won't be back much at all after that.
My dad's job is moving to Virginia...so my parents and brother will be going there, and I'll be living on campus. I probably won't have a car anymore when I'm living on campus...
ahh...the turns life takes.

Do you ever just have one of the dreams that feels so real that when you wake up to find it was just a dream you feel really dissapointed that it was just that, a dream?

tonight was the thespian induction ceremony.
it was good, the inductees were great and re-enforced my confidence in the future of the theatre program at lohs.
we had some amazing inductees.
mr. b gave out several awards.
among which
Emily won Thespian of the Year
I won Outstanding Career Thespian
which both came with $500 in college scholarship money
that makes me feel like everything ive done in the past few years in program mattered.
we also inducted mrs.rupp as an honorary member. the look on her face was priceless when I named her. Im happy she was honrored by it.
now as soon as the constitution is finished, my hs thespian career will come to an end.
its bittersweet.

So last night I watched American Idol.
It was there big American Idol Gives Back thing.
I watched Celine Dion sing a duet with Elvis Presley. The Elvis. I watched a man who has been dead for over 20 years perform live onstage. Anybody else think that is slightly wierd or creepy?

So I didn't make it. I won't be going to Juilliard next year.
The fact that I didn't get in makes me all that more determined to get into Tisch. I absolutelly love New York city and I didn't want to leave the city, but I had to come back to LO........sigh.........
Broadway is amazing!
I have one month to get ready. I'll do what it takes.

SoI didn't win scholarship at festival yesterday...
But you know what, I'm not going to let it get me down.
I'm damn proud of my performance. I waited all day friday, half the day saturday, got pumped up, slightly nervous, but I didnt let my nerves get the best of me. I went in and gave a damn good performance. As we walked out, Mr.B who got to sit in on the audition says to me "You were incredible!" And I walked out thinking I fucking nailed it, so you know what, the fact that I didn't win, doesn't matter. Because if I did as good as I think I did, then the others definetly deserved it, because they must have been simply amazing.
And so, I begin preparing for college audtions.

I recieved two letters in the mail today.
The first was from the marines. Thats ridiculous, I'm not joining the armed forces, I'd get my ass kicked up and down and then throw out for being an incompetent fool when it comes to the military. I didn't bother opening it.
The second letter was from Juilliard. It was regarding my application that I sent two weeks ago. The letter informed me that at 9:30 am, on January 25th 2007 I will be audition in front of a panel of judges who will decided whether I will be attending Juilliard or not. I was picked out of thousand to audition.
I am psyched for it.
now...about those four monologues I need...

I love Senior Homecoming.
I love going to the game.
I love missing 3rd and 4th hour to set up the pep rally.
I love eating a muffin only to ave mr. steele ask me if I'm in the band.
I love grilling in the parking lot.
I love hanging with my friends.
I love having a good time.
I love making a diorama that's an empty box.
But most of all, I love not worrying.
